Strength Exercise Videos

Build muscle strength and support your balance with these simple exercises you can do at home.

Strength plays a vital role in staying steady on your feet and managing everyday tasks. These gentle exercises are designed to help maintain or improve your muscle strength, particularly in your legs, hips and core.

You don’t need any fancy equipment - just a stable chair, some clear space, and supportive footwear. Start slowly, follow along with the videos, and build up gradually.

Improving your strength can make daily activities like climbing stairs, standing up from a chair or carrying shopping much easier — and can reduce the risk of falls.

Before You Begin:

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing and well-fitting shoes
  • Make sure the area around you is free from hazards
  • Use a sturdy chair or worktop for support
  • Keep water nearby and take breaks when needed

Please note: Unless otherwise stated, these videos and resources are general exercises and are not intended to treat any specific condition. If you are unsure whether these videos are suitable for your individual fitness level or circumstances, please consult a healthcare professional before trying them.
